We are looking for a Senior Associate to support the implementation of a large-scale vocational education programme in Punjab. The role will involve programme planning, research, on-ground implementation, stakeholder coordination, monitoring, and documentation.
The individual will work closely with government officials, schools, vocational teachers, implementation partners, and internal teams to support effective programme delivery and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Programme Strategy & Planning
Conduct research and analysis to support programme planning and decision-making.
Support the Programme Manager in tracking project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth programme implementation.
Provide regular updates on programme progress, challenges, and outcomes.
2. On-Ground Implementation & Monitoring
Lead assigned programme activities/verticals and ensure timely execution.
Conduct regular school and field visits to monitor implementation and understand on-ground challenges.
Build relationships with government officials, school principals, vocational teachers, partners, and other stakeholders.
Support data collection, analysis, monitoring, and documentation of programme outcomes.
Identify implementation bottlenecks and work with the Programme Manager to develop solutions and course corrections.
Support effective allocation and utilization of programme resources.
3. Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with government and education stakeholders to support programme objectives.
Facilitate communication between schools, implementation partners, field teams, and internal stakeholders.
Build strong working relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare project updates, reports, presentations, proposals, and other programme documentation.
Document field learnings, challenges, best practices, and stakeholder insights.
Contribute to internal knowledge-building and programme learning.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree with 1– 2+ years of relevant experience in education, government, consulting, social impact, or programme management.
Fresh graduates/postgraduates with strong relevant exposure may also be considered.
Strong project coordination and on-ground implementation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work with data, analyse information, and draw actionable insights.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Experience working with government stakeholders, schools, or education programmes is preferred.
Prior experience in the social/development sector is an advantage.
Strong prioritization, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and frequent field engagement.
Basic familiarity with AI tools is preferred.
Punjabi proficiency is preferred, and candidates based in Punjab are encouraged to apply.
