Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description:

Treasury & Trade Solution (TTS) - Liquidity Technology is going through several transformational technology initiatives and is looking for a Test Automation Analyst to join the Automation Engineering Team. This role is based in Pune (India), but is part of a virtual team with other team members located globally. As part of this role, you will communicate directly with the various functional groups within TTS and working closely with technologists and business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop common, reusable automation framework and tools that execute against the automation strategy and drive future improvements. 
• Handson experience in writing Java code and designing automation scripts using Selenium using BDD Framework. 
• Enhance and extend capabilities of Test Automation Frameworks. 
• Execution and maintenance of automation suite
• Develop automated testing strategies that can run in a CI/CD pipeline. 
• Assist in planning, creation and control of test environments and test data.     
• Scaling-up the test cases after every release to reduce manual efforts. 
• Improvement of reporting framework for better coverage/readability. 
• Co-ordinating with functional members/Dev/BA's to validate test cases and improve Automation coverage.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years working as Test Automation Engineer with proven experience of implementing Automation Testing frameworks and methodology to support agile product development.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing test automation solutions using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber etc.
• Ongoing knowledge of automated testing industry best practices and trends. 
• Sound understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies and concepts including expertise in continuous integration test and delivery (Jenkins, TeamCity, LightSpeed etc.). 
• Understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies 
• Hands-on test automation experience in an Agile development process with experience specifying, establishing and managing the test data via test automation utilities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Technical Skills: 

• Must-haves : Candidate must be very strong and proficient in working with following technologies/tools: Java, Selenium, SQL, GIT, Bit Bucket, API Testing, & JIRA
• Good to have skills: Python, Cypress, JMeter, Linux, Containerization etc.
