Senior Backend Engineer

As a Golang Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services that power mission-critical applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy services built for performance and scalability. The role demands a deep understanding of Golang, cloud technologies, and distributed systems, along with a hands-on approach to coding and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Golang for scalable backend systems.
• Work on system architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization for high-traffic environments.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices that are efficient, maintainable, and secure.
• Collaborate with DevOps and product teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration across environments.
• Perform code reviews, refactor existing modules, and maintain high code quality standards.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot production issues, monitor system performance, and implement improvements.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and continuous improvement of development processes.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Golang and backend development tools.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of hands-on software development experience, with at least 3 years working in Golang.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design.
• Proven experience in building high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Deep familiarity with Linux environments and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Excellent grasp of asynchronous architectures and system scalability principles.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases with practical implementation experience.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
