Job Description - Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for an experienced User Management Engineer to build and manage secure authentication, authorization, and access-control systems. The role involves implementing single sign-on, role-based permissions, secure session management, and cloud identity integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop authentication and user-management services.
Implement SSO using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
Build role-based and policy-based access-control mechanisms.
Integrate identity providers such as Azure AD and AWS Cognito.
Manage secure sessions, tokens, password policies, and account recovery.
Configure AWS IAM roles, policies, and least-privilege access.
Develop backend services using Java or Python.
Automate identity and cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
Monitor authentication activity and maintain security audit logs.
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams.

Requirements

8+ years of backend or identity-management experience.
Strong experience with AWS IAM, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and SSO.
Proficiency in Java or Python.
Experience with Azure AD and AWS Cognito.
Strong understanding of RBAC, session management, JWT, and identity federation.
Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Knowledge of security principles, encryption, audit logging, and least-privilege access.
