Job Title: Senior Backend Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain REST/gRPC microservices and APIs (internal & external).
  

• Build backend components using Golang, Terraform, AWS, SQL/NoSQL.
  

• Drive system performance, scalability, and security with high availability.
  

• Collaborate in requirements analysis, architecture review, CI/CD implementation, and agile ceremonies.
  

• Mentor junior developers, conduct peer code reviews, and maintain automated test coverage (TDD/BDD).
  

• Ensure effective deployment, monitoring, and incident resolution.
  

• Prepare technical documentation (APIs, data dictionaries, design specs).
  

Critical Skill Set:

• Languages & Frameworks: Golang, Protobuf, Terraform.
  

• Backend Expertise: Microservices architecture, REST & GraphQL APIs, Partner integrations.
  

• Databases: SQL & NoSQL (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Document Stores).
  

• Cloud & DevOps: AWS (hands-on), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code.
  

• Messaging & Monitoring: Kafka, SQS/SNS, ActiveMQ, Prometheus, Splunk, New Relic, Opentelemetry.
  

• Testing: TDD/BDD, automated unit & integration testing.
  

• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, ownership mindset, agile experience, mentoring, and clear communication.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  

• 5–7 years of backend development in B2B SaaS/enterprise applications.
  

• AWS Certified Developer (preferred).
