Systra India's design business line is the leading design team for metros, highways, special bridges, Urban Planning and water projects in India. The team has designed over 900 kms of viaduct & Bridges along with 43 kms of tunnels and 82 underground stations, 345 Elevated & at-grade Stations, 19 Depots besides 300 plus stations being designed currently. The team has also completed 3,165 km of highways detail design projects and 22,506 km of design/ feasibility projects. The team has also worked on detailed design for Drainage and Utilities, design of WTP and STP etc.

We are also very proud to have designed the first monopile in India for the Mumbai Coastal Road project. We have the distinction of designing the fastest implemented metro project in the country with Lucknow and now have broken the record in Kanpur Metro. Apart from Indian projects the team also provides design services to projects as far as Philippines in the east to Columbia in the West.

We are also conversant with BIM (Building Information Modelling) which enhances all stages of the infrastructure life cycle, from design to construction and maintenance, which is why we integrate it into our projects and offer it to our clients. Our design team has extensive exposure to both domestic and international markets, contracts, codes and specification.

• Design & Modeling: Create detailed 3D models and 2D layouts (plans, profiles, L-sections, sections) for water and sewerage systems, including Water Treatment Plant, Pumping Station (CWPS / RWPS), Sewage Treatment Plant (STPs) and Sewage pumping Stations (SPSs) pressurized mains and gravity networks.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of CAD technicians/drafters, assigning tasks, establishing schedules, and providing technical training on CAD/BIM standards.
• Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Perform rigorous checks on drawings for accuracy, clash detection (using Navisworks/Civil 3D), and compliance with local regulatory codes.
• Coordination: Coordinate with other disciplines (structural, electrical, mechanical) to ensure the alignment of piping/utilities and prevent interference.
• Engineering Input: Interpret engineering markups and sketches into final "Good for Construction" (GFC) drawings.
• Data Management: Manage drawing revisions, maintain project file structures, and use Common Data Environments (CDE) like ProjectWise or BIM 360.
• As-Built Preparation: Finalize drawings post-construction based on field data

• Diploma or degree in drafting, civil engineering, or a related field, with 3-5 years of AutoCAD experience in water infrastructure related or civil projects. Familiarity with  .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential), civil 3D (Pipe Networks , profiles, surfaces).  and QGIS, and tools preferred for hydraulic /water/sewer modelling.

• Deep understanding of water distribution, sewerage reticulation, pumping station layouts, and hydraulic drafting standards.
