Job Description - Senior Compensation Analyst

Compensation Program Support

  • Provide support for global compensation programs (salary/bonus/equity/promo/recognition), including program documentation, roll-up analyses, report creation, audits, and presentation preparation.
  • Conduct system testing for compensation tools and programs, documenting testing results.
  • Complete regular and ad-hoc compensation analyses (primarily for APAC and EMEA), providing key insights and alternative solutions to outstanding issues.
  • Facilitate ancillary pay programs (e.g., allowances and one-time payments), ensuring appropriate eligibility criteria and payment levels are defined, maintained, and reviewed as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members in Total Rewards, Stock Administration, Payroll, and People Partners.

Infrastructure & Compliance

  • Review and maintain Rubrik’s Job Architecture. Conduct job audits and evaluations, maintain job documentation, and create new job profiles in the HR system as necessary.
  • Manage salary survey and market practice submissions.
  • Analyze Radford and other survey market data to make recommendations regarding regional and global salary ranges, and compensation programs and policies.
  • Conduct routine data audits and work with the data entry team to make corrections as appropriate.
  • Document systems processes and audit procedures.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation or a related role.
  • Proficient in using Google Sheets and Excel for data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills (proficiency in advanced data modeling is a plus).
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and understand client or business partner needs and apply creative and logical solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a strong work ethic, independence, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation systems; Workday experience is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

This position is focused on global program and infrastructure work, with analytical support for compensation practices. It is based in Bangalore and reports to the Director of Total Rewards - Compensation in the United States. The role requires working an average of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remotely.

Given the global nature of the role, the expectation is that the individual would be available until 11:30 PM IST (11:00 AM Pacific Time) on remote working days, adjusting the start time accordingly.
