About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Senior Content and Copy Writer. The ideal candidate will excel in creating compelling and user-centric written content for websites, email campaigns, brochures, factsheets, value propositions and a wide range of broader marketing and communications initiatives. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to a yearly marketing and communications plan, working with various functions to develop communications aimed at driving business growth.

The content will serve multiple stakeholders including Marketing, Communications, the Product / Offering Team, Sales, Bid Proposal Team and other business functions. Content will also be activated in Europe on Securitas country websites, at events, internally and across various channels. 

Responsibilities

• Content Writing: Write and manage high-quality copy and content for various channels, internally and externally for communications, marketing and internal sales materials including website page texts, blog posts, email campaigns, proposals, brochures and articles.
  

• Strategy & Planning: Contribute to the development of a digital content marketing plan, to support the development of website content. You will also support our central product/offering business with inside and external sales materials, for product launches/re-launches and event collateral.
  

• Compliance & Guidelines: Ensure content is appropriate for the destined audience and outcome and purpose (brand awareness/product information/conversion/sales). Strict adherence to the Securitas brand Tone of Voice is required.
  

• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Close collaboration (via Teams) with the various Securitas business areas (Marketing, Product/Offering, Communications and Group) to ensure content aligns with business goals, branding, and marketing campaigns. Team collaboration with the Commercial Business Center for sharing of best practices and the creation of graphic designs as needed.
  

• Content guidance: As a content and copy expert you will take initiative to guide briefed content requirements from various stakeholders. You will bring ideas to the table, challenge assumptions, integrate learning and play a key role in shaping and optimizing our content in Europe.
  

• Manage a new junior writer: As Senior Copy Writer you will manage a new hired Junior Writer and support/review the work done and the work processes being in place to ensure written content is of an appropriate standard and to support in maintaining a content library.

Required Qualifications

• Experience Level: Proven experience of 6+ years as a content writer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse content across digital and offline channels (websites, SOME, email, articles, brochures, factsheets).
  

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills: A degree in English, Communications, Marketing or Journalism or other similar qualification is desirable, but experience and a strong writing portfolio is most relevant.
  

• Strong in content and copy writing: Ability to craft engaging, clear, and persuasive content that aligns with business objectives and engages audiences, adapted to channel and sales funnel stage.
  

• Marketing and communications: Understanding of marketing communications, content best practices for websites, SEO and Key Word principles and digital strategy.
  

• B2B Knowledge: Experience with B2B to produce content that resonates with this segment and speaks to its audience’s needs and challenges.
  

• Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail in both content creation and editing, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines, business goals and is error-free.
  

• Innovation: The ability to stay on top and ahead of marketing and communication trends and adapt content accordingly.
  

• Time Management: Strong time management and prioritization skills, able to handle multiple content initiatives, deadlines, and campaigns simultaneously.
  

• Cultural Understanding: Experience with European market dynamics, cultural considerations, and how these impact content strategies.
  

• Collaboration: Strong self-motivation when working alone and collaborative when working with others, adapting to changing conditions as needed to get done what needs to get done.
  

• Microsoft suite: Experienced in working in the Microsoft environment including Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, Teams, SharePoint etc.
  

• AI: Experienced in utilizing AI to accelerate creative workflows, generate concepts and content.

• Organized and deadline-driven with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  

• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  

• Creative mindset with the ability to assess stakeholder needs and develop tailored content.
  

• Leadership skills with the ability to drive the establishment of a new team, further develop a junior employee, and draft the required work processes to be used to support sustainable results.

Working conditions

Role is based in Securitas AMEA office in India, Gurugram. Hybrid working model applies (2 days from the office per week).
