Role Summary:

Dentsu is looking for a creative Senior Copywriter (Digital) to join our team in Worli, Mumbai.

The purpose of this role is to conceptualize and bring ideas to life through compelling use of language and storytelling. The ideal candidate should be able to think holistically about how ideas are expressed across multiple consumer touchpoints and develop both short-form and long-form copy that establishes the tone and voice of campaigns.

This role requires close collaboration with Art Directors, Creative Directors, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful digital and integrated campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop engaging and persuasive copy for digital campaigns, social media, websites, banners, videos, and other communication channels

• Draft narratives, scripts, storyboards, annotations, and creative treatments

• Ensure all copy is on-brand, on-message, and tailored to the target audience

• Present concepts and ideas clearly to internal teams and stakeholders

• Understand and maintain brand continuity, guidelines, and positioning across all communications

• Collaborate with Art Directors and designers to execute integrated creative concepts

• Support pitches and new business presentations with compelling creative ideas

• Contribute to improving the quality of briefs, reviews, and feedback processes

• Identify opportunities to deliver additional creative solutions for clients

• Leverage emerging technologies and digital platforms to solve business challenges creatively

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, or related field

• 2+ years of experience as a copywriter in a digital or integrated advertising agency

• Strong portfolio showcasing digital campaigns and creative writing samples

• Excellent command of English with exceptional writing and editing skills

• Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling skills

• Familiarity with digital platforms, social media trends, and content formats

• Excellent presentation and communication skills

• Experience working on consumer, banking, automobile, or lifestyle brands
