Job Description - Senior Creative Director - Entertainment Ad Sales, Brand Solutions

Job Summary

This role leads content-first brand solutions for clients across Entertainment Impact properties spanning TV and Digital (JioHotstar). The mandate involves supporting revenue growth through strategic go-to-market narratives, scalable impact integration frameworks, and innovative cross-platform sponsorship opportunities. The role requires strong leadership across integrated entertainment ecosystems, combining storytelling, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and executional excellence to deliver high-impact brand partnerships.

About the team

JioStar Creative Works team helps solve clients brand and business challenges through storytelling-driven content formats including in-show integrations, character-led narratives, tentpole solutions, on-ground activations, and digital-social amplification.

The team partners deeply with brands, offering high-impact, culturally relevant, and scalable entertainment solutions that go beyond traditional FCT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team driving brand solutioning and sponsorship integrations across:

    • JHS portfolio including Fiction and Non-Fiction properties across markets

    • Digital-first solutioning on the JHS platform

    • HSM Regional markets including Bangla, Marathi, and Gujarati across TV and digital

    • Youth (MTV) and English entertainment properties across TV and digital

    • Movie premieres and marquee entertainment moments across TV and digital

  • Support revenue generation by building compelling go-to market narratives and creating scalable frameworks for content-led brand integrations.

  • Lead strategic conversations and unlock collaboration opportunities with cross-functional leaders across business units including Sales, Content, Marketing, Strategy, Legal, and Digital.

  • Create strategic presentations and lead pitches for digital-first clients, focusing on integrated entertainment-led solutions and innovative sponsorship opportunities.

  • Manage and mentor a team responsible for delivering executional excellence across all closed sponsorship deals and integrated partnerships.

  • Partner with marketing teams to unlock sponsor ideation opportunities and build customized content-led brand solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with strategy and insights teams to develop data-first, consumer-centric ideas and narratives for clients and partners.

  • Develop a strong understanding of legal and compliance guardrails across content integrations and advise internal teams on viable and actionable ideation opportunities.

  • Ensure seamless coordination between creative, sales, production, and execution teams to deliver impactful and scalable client solutions.

Skills & Attributes for success

  • Strong understanding of content-led brand solutions and integrated sponsorship ecosystems across TV and digital platforms

  • Ability to build compelling go-to-market narratives and client-facing presentations aligned with brand and business objectives

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate content opportunities into scalable revenue solutions

  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Content, Marketing, Strategy, Digital, and Legal teams

  • Ability to lead and mentor teams while ensuring executional excellence across sponsorship integrations and branded content initiatives

  • Agile mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving client needs, platform trends, and market opportunities

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Postgraduate degree in Mass Communication, Media, Marketing, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of the digital ecosystem with the ability to develop and articulate digital-first brand solutions

  • 15+ years of experience across brand solutions, content partnerships, sales, or brand marketing in TV and digital media

  • Proven track record of conceptualizing and delivering high-impact integrated brand campaigns across platforms

  • Experience in leading and managing creative or brand solutions teams in a fast-paced media environment
