Senior Data Analyst

Job Description:

We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst / Data Operations Lead to run a new data intelligence initiative. This is a hands-on role for someone who can work with external datasets, clean and structure messy information, build repeatable workflows, manage junior analysts, and produce high-quality business intelligence outputs.

This is not a dashboard-only role. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with imperfect data, public and licensed sources, spreadsheets, databases, PDFs, portals, and semi-structured information. You should be able to convert raw data into reliable, business-ready records and clear analytical summaries.

The role requires strong Excel or Google Sheets, SQL, data cleaning, quality control, process documentation, and team leadership. Python/Pandas, web scraping exposure, OCR/PDF extraction, CRM-ready data, and market intelligence experience are strong advantages.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and document external data sources.
  


• Extract, clean, structure, validate, and enrich data from multiple formats.
  


• Create repeatable data workflows, templates, and SOPs.
  


• Develop simple scoring, classification, and prioritization logic.
  


• Manage junior analysts and review their output for quality.
  


• Produce weekly business intelligence outputs and summary reports.
  


• Coordinate with automation or technical teams where required.
  

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in data analysis, data operations, business research, market intelligence, or related roles.
  


• Strong Excel / Google Sheets and SQL skills.
  


• Experience cleaning messy datasets and creating structured outputs.
  


• Strong analytical judgment and documentation ability.
  


• Experience managing or reviewing junior analysts.
  


• Comfortable working in a new initiative with ambiguity and ownership.
  

Preferred Skills

• Python/Pandas exposure.
  


• Web scraping or automation project exposure.
  


• OCR, PDF extraction, or document parsing experience.
  


• Experience with external market data, company data, location data, or sales intelligence.
  


• Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio exposure.
