Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, optimize, and manage scalable data platforms and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in large -scale data integration, cloud -native architecture, workflow orchestration, and backend programming.

This role requires hands -on engineering capability, strong problem -solving skills, and experience working in enterprise -grade data ecosystems supporting analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.

Requirements

Technical Core Requirements:

Data Integration: Expertise in designing and executing ETL or ELT pipelines to manage large -scale Data sets using SQL.
Cloud Architecture: Hands -on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Bigtable, or Cloud Composer.
Orchestration: Proven ability to manage complex data workflows using Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
Programming: Proficiency in at least one backend language: Python, Java, C++, or Go (Golang).
Certification: Must hold one of the following credentials:
- DCD (Data Center Design)
- IBM Data Engineering Professional (IDEP)
- Meta Database Engineer Professional (MDEP)
- Cloudera Certified Professional Data Engineer (CCP -DE)
