Job Description - Senior Dealer Institutional Equities

We
are looking for an experienced Senior Dealer – Institutional Equities to manage
and execute equity orders for our institutional clients, including Domestic
Mutual Funds, PMS and AIFs. This is a high responsibility role for someone who
understands the nuances of institutional execution and is comfortable handling
large value orders and ETF baskets and has the judgment to select the right
execution strategy and trading algorithms to achieve the best possible outcomes
for clients. You will work closely with buy side Dealing Teams, Institutional
Sales, Trading and Operations, ensuring every order is executed with speed,
accuracy, discretion and strong attention to execution quality. Error free
execution is expected from you.

Key
Responsibilities:
  • Execute
    equity orders for Domestic Mutual Funds, PMS and AIF clients with speed,
    accuracy.
  • Handle
    large value orders, block/bulk trades and ETF baskets efficiently across
    different market conditions. 
  • Use
    appropriate algorithmic trading strategies and execution tools to achieve
    optimal execution and minimize market impact.
  • Monitor
    market movements, liquidity, spreads and order flow to determine the most
    effective execution strategy.
  • Work
    closely with Fund Managers, Client Dealers and institutional dealing teams to
    understand their trading preferences and execution requirements.
  • Maintain
    clear and timely communication with clients throughout the order execution
    lifecycle.
  • Build
    strong working relationships with institutional clients and act as a trusted
    execution partner.
  • Collaborate
    closely with Institutional Sales, Operations and other internal teams to ensure
    smooth trade execution.
  • Proactively
    identify and resolve execution related issues to ensure a seamless client
    experience.
  • Maintain
    accurate trade records and ensure all executions are carried out in line with
    internal controls, compliance requirements and regulatory guidelines.
  • Demonstrate
    strong ownership, discretion and judgment while handling high value and
    sensitive institutional orders.

What
We're Looking For:
  • 5–8
    years of experience in Institutional Equity Dealing / Trading.
  • Strong
    experience handling institutional equity orders for Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs or
    other institutional clients.
  • Hands
    on experience in executing large value orders, block/bulk trades and ETF
    baskets.
  • Good
    understanding and practical experience with algorithmic trading and execution
    strategies.
  • Strong
    understanding of equity markets, liquidity, order types and market
    microstructure.
  • Strong
    relationships and working experience with Fund Managers and institutional
    dealing teams.
  • Excellent
    judgment under pressure with a strong focus on accuracy and execution quality.
  • Strong
    communication and coordination skills.
  • High
    level of integrity, ownership and confidentiality when handling institutional
    orders.
