We are seeking a skilled and innovative Senior Design Engineer to lead the end-to-end design and development of new mechanical products, with a focus on products incorporating electrical and water-based hydraulic components. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in new product development (NPD), value engineering, and a deep understanding of engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently conceptualize, design, and prototype new mechanical products through to production-ready stage.
• Integrate electrical and hydraulic functionalities into mechanical product designs.
• Drive new product development (NPD) initiatives, ensuring timely execution and production readiness.
• Conduct value engineering to optimize product cost, functionality, and manufacturability.
• Apply and adhere to international and national engineering standards (e.g., IS, ASTM, ANSI, BS).
• Customize product configurations based on client requirements and ensure seamless integration.
• Collaborate with factory development teams for experimentation, design validation, and necessary modifications.
• Coordinate with the QA team to resolve quality issues related to new product designs.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong background in mechanical product design with electrical and hydraulic elements.
• Proven experience in New Product Development (NPD).
• Proficient in value engineering practices.
• Thorough knowledge of standards such as IS, ASTM, ANSI, BS, etc.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
