Senior Design Engineer – Layout & Application Design

Summary

Responsibilities

• Formulate comprehensive plant layout designs that optimize workflow and space utilization for heavy engineering operations.
  
• Interpret General Arrangement (GA) drawings to ensure accurate translation of engineering concepts into executable plans.
  
• Facilitate seamless coordination between civil and structural teams to maintain design consistency and project timelines.
  
• Lead the standardization of design protocols and the continuous development of engineering databanks for future reference.
  
• Produce detailed foundation layout drawings and technical specifications for various heavy equipment installations.
  
• Execute precise 2D drafting and design modeling using industry-standard AutoCAD software.
  
• Oversee the design lifecycle for batching plants and related heavy engineering machinery to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
  

• Possess a minimum of 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in heavy engineering, with a specific focus on batching plant design.
  
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in interpreting GA drawings and creating accurate technical documentation.
  
• Exhibit strong capabilities in civil and structural coordination to resolve interdisciplinary design challenges.
  
• Show proven expertise in establishing design standardization frameworks and maintaining comprehensive databanks.
  
• Have a solid track record in developing plant layout designs that meet operational and safety requirements.
  
• Be highly skilled in AutoCAD and 2D drafting techniques for creating precise engineering drawings.
  
• Display the ability to design and document complex foundation layouts for heavy industrial equipment.
