Senior DevOps Engineer - IT Infrastructure

This role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly Azure, but experience with other cloud platforms is also acceptable. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure management.Key Responsibilities :- Design, implement, and manage scalable, resilient infrastructure on Azure and other cloud platforms.- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, ensuring high availability and performance.- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.- Manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.- Optimize system performance, ensuring cost-effectiveness and scalability.- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents as needed.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 5-7 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.- Expertise in Azure (experience with AWS or GCP is a plus).- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.- Knowledge of networking, security, and performance tuning.- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.- Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Certifications (Mandatory) :Having certifications is mandatory, either the ones listed below or equivalent ones:- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional (if experience with AWS is considered)- Certified Jenkins Engineer (CJE)Please submit copies of your certifications along with your resume to [email protected].
