About the role:
We are looking for a seasoned sales leader to drive revenue growth across key accounts for JioStar's Premium Sports portfolio in the West region. This role goes beyond traditional media sales and requires an individual who can sell a story, not just a platform - connecting brand objectives with the power of marquee sports properties across Cricket, Kabaddi, Tennis, Football, and other sporting events through integrated solutions spanning TV, Digital, and On-Ground experiences.
The ideal candidate is commercially ambitious, highly networked, and brings a strong track record of building relationships with senior marketing leaders and converting strategic conversations into long-term partnerships.
What you will do:
Own and deliver revenue targets across a portfolio of strategic accounts within the West region.
Act as a trusted advisor and ambassador for JioStar, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across brands and agencies.
Build compelling client narratives around JioStar's marquee sports properties demonstrating how they can help brands achieve business, marketing, and consumer engagement objectives.
Unlock the full potential of TV, Digital, and On-Ground sports assets by creating customized partnerships aligned to client goals.
Develop and maintain relationships with CMOs, Marketing Heads, Brand Leaders, and senior agency stakeholders, positioning JioStar as a strategic partner for their business.
Identify opportunities across key sectors including Automotive, Telecom, BFSI, Cement, Industrials, and other categories
Leverage market intelligence, category insights, and competitive understanding to proactively identify revenue opportunities and drive account growth.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, drive forecast accuracy, proactively flag risks, and ensure disciplined execution of sales processes.
Maximize revenue potential across assigned accounts by evangelizing JioStar as the preferred destination for premium sports advertising and integrated brand partnerships.
Collaborate closely with internal teams across content, marketing, research, strategy, and ad operations to deliver seamless and effective client solutions.
What you should have:
13 - 15 years of experience in media sales, sports sales, advertising, strategic partnerships, or B2B solution selling.
Strong network and proven relationships with senior marketing decision-makers across brands and agencies in the West market.
Demonstrated success in managing and growing large strategic accounts and delivering consistent revenue growth.
Experience engaging CMOs, Marketing Heads, and senior brand leaders in consultative, insight-led business conversations.
Strong understanding of the media, marketing, sponsorship, or advertising ecosystem, with the ability to translate market and consumer insights into compelling commercial opportunities.
Experience selling premium, high-value solutions where storytelling, strategic thinking, and relationship management are critical to success.
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and a track record of closing complex partnerships.
An entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition, ownership, and drive to unlock new business opportunities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
