Job Description - Senior Director - Entertainment Ad Sales, Digital, LCS

* Job Summary

As a Senior Ad Sales Lead at JioHotstar, you will drive strategic partnerships with some of the country’s largest advertisers and leading media agencies across a designated industry vertical. The role involves owning and accelerating revenue growth for key accounts by leveraging a deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer trends, digital video and programmatic ecosystems.

You will work closely with senior marketing stakeholders and agency planners to craft long-term, high-impact partnerships that deliver measurable business outcomes for clients while maximizing the value of JioHotstar’s Entertainment offering. The role requires a consultative sales approach, strong understanding of advertiser's business, commercial acumen, and the ability to shape integrated & innovative solutions across digital video, Commerce, branded content, and emerging ad innovations.

* Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of high-impact accounts with clear revenue and growth accountability
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client and agency stakeholders, shaping long-term advertising strategies
  • Lead annual planning, quarterly business reviews, and strategic upsell conversations
  • Identify emerging opportunities across formats, platforms, and performance solutions within the digital ecosystem
  • Partner with internal leadership, product, analytics, and execution teams to deliver high-quality, insight-led solutions
  • Maintain strong pipeline visibility, forecasts, and risk mitigation plans
  • Represent client needs internally and influence roadmap, solutions, and prioritisation

* Skills & Attributes for success

  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including media strategy, Branding & performance marketing, and ad tech
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect business objectives to advertising solutions
  • Proven senior stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Confident presenter with the ability to influence and close complex deals
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving outcomes in a growth-oriented environment

* Preferred Education & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in digital ad sales, media sales, or agency-facing roles
  • Track record of managing large accounts and delivering sustained revenue growth
  • Experience working closely with agencies and senior brand decision-makers
  • Familiarity with ad tech platforms, reporting tools, and campaign optimisation frameworks is a plus
