Role: Senior Dot Net Developer

Location: Chennai

Primary Skillset: (Essential)

Front End: HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, Angular JS, JQuery, Bootstrap, MVC 

Middleware: Web API, (RESTful APIs), WCF 

Languages: C#, VB.NET

Database: SQL Server 2016+, Oracle 12c+ 

Framework: .NET Core, Entity Framework

Secondary Skill set (Virtal) Tools: Git, JIRA, Tableau, BI Reporting

Knowledge / Skills Required: 

• Design and development of commercial full stack .NET, web applications (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Web API) written in C#

 • Designing, developing, testing, documenting and supporting new functionality and existing functionality following core principles, practices, processes and architectural standards of the organisation 

• Writing well designed, testable and clean code following SOLID principles 

• Contributing in all phases of the software development life-cycle

• Resolving technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation 

• Working experience of SQL and Entity Framework & Unit Testing 

• Proven track record of full life-cycle development, including requirement gathering and analysis, design, implementation, deployment, testing and maintenance with strong problem-solving skills 

• Design and Development, Unit Testing, Automated Testing and Perform Code Review 

• Help Technical Lead in identifying key technical risks and mitigation plan for the same 

• Define reusable components/frameworks, common schemas, standards to be used & tools to be used and help bootstrap the engineering team 

• Help Technical Lead in effort estimation and planning, Delivery within the timeline

• Follow proper change management process 

• Minimum of 6 years of experience of 

• Automated Testing including Unit, Integration and Acceptance Tests 

• Working experience with Continuous Integration (CI) 

• Experience with Agile development 

• Solid Understanding of design patterns and Object-Oriented programming

 • Familiarity with version control with Git, Bitbucket
