ID:\n\nJR98878 Senior DRAM RTL design engineer\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Take responsibility for designing digital IP blocks from initial microarchitecture to RTL creation, integration, and supporting physical hardware development. \n * Define and review module interfaces and system-level architecture.\n * Actively demonstrate AI\u2011based tools, agentic workflows, and automation frameworks to:\n * Accelerate RTL design optimization and design\u2011space exploration\n * Assist in testbench generation and corner coverage\n * Improve debug efficiency across simulation and silicon learning loops\n * Define semicustom methodology for memory design\n * Drive full-chip integration including CDC, Lint, synthesis, STA and power analysis.\n * Collaborate with CAD, EDA, and software teams to integrate AI\u2011driven flows into simulation, verification, and design sign\u2011off environments.\n * Collaborate closely with architecture, design, verification, and physical design / layout teams.\n * Oversee and manage the layout process including floor-planning, placement, and routing.\n * Perform block-level and full-chip verification including functional, timing, power and reliability analysis using industry standard and Micron-specific simulators and tools.\n * Contribute to cross-group communication to work towards standardization and group success\n * Provide technical mentorship and participate in design and methodology reviews.\n * Drive innovation into the future memory generations and design methodology within a dynamic work environment\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n * Master\u2019s degree in electrical or computer engineering with 3 - 6 years of experience in RTL design. \n * Solid knowledge of asynchronous and synchronous design concepts and CDC methodologies.\n * Deep understanding of SoC design flows (Lint, CDC, synthesis, STA, power analysis)\n * Fundamentals in CMOS circuit design, device physics and memory operation.\n * Ability to work effectively with global multi-functional teams.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Domain knowledge in DRAM design (DDR5, LPDDR5 or HBM or in any other memory related field)\n * Exposure to or strong interest in AI/ML-assisted design flows, agentic AI or advanced automation in digital design and verification.\n * Experience working with Spyglass\n * Domain knowledge in NAND memory design\n * Experience on SoC / ASIC semicustom flow\n * Strong communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills.\n\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSemiconductor Design Engineer 3\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
