Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E& I) Engineer – Sr VP Position
Location -Hedri, Gadchiroli, Maharashtra
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to lead and
manage Electrical & Instrumentation functions for large -scale industrial projects. The role
requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in heavy industries, capable of
independently executing greenfield and brownfield projects from concept to commissioning
while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
ï· Lead the complete Electrical & Instrumentation scope for large -scale greenfield and
brownfield projects.
ï· Develop project execution strategies, schedules, resource plans, and commissioning
roadmaps.
ï· Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets and quality standards.
ï· Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and external
stakeholders.
Electrical Engineering
ï· Design, review, and oversee installation of high -capacity power distribution systems.
ï· Manage substations, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, motors, drives,
and electrical networks.
ï· Ensure reliable power infrastructure for plant operations and future expansion
requirements.
ï· Review technical specifications and engineering drawings.
Instrumentation & Automation
ï· Lead implementation and maintenance of instrumentation systems, PLC, DCS,
SCADA, and automation solutions.
ï· Ensure process control systems support operational efficiency and reliability.
ï· Drive modernization and automation initiatives across plant operations.
Procurement & Vendor Management
ï· Manage sourcing and procurement of E& I equipment from domestic and
international suppliers.
ï· Handle techno -commercial evaluations, vendor development, and negotiations.
ï· Coordinate procurement activities with suppliers from China and other global
markets.
ï· Monitor equipment manufacturing, inspections, dispatch, and delivery schedules.
Commissioning & Operations Support
ï· Lead testing, commissioning, startup, and performance validation of E&I systems.
ï· Provide technical guidance during plant stabilization and operational handover.
ï· Troubleshoot critical electrical and instrumentation issues.
Compliance & Safety
ï· Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, electrical, and industrial safety
regulations.
ï· Implement best practices in electrical safety, process safety, and risk management.
ï· Drive continuous improvement initiatives in system reliability and operational
excellence.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience
ï· 20+ years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
ï· Experience in industries such as:
o Iron Ore Beneficiation
o Pellet Plants
o Steel Manufacturing
o Mining
o Power Plants
o Other large process industries
ï· Demonstrated experience in independently executing large -scale greenfield and
brownfield projects.
Technical Expertise
ï· Strong expertise in:
o High Voltage and Medium Voltage Power Distribution Systems
o Substations and Transformers
o Switchgear and Protection Systems
o Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
o PLC, DCS, SCADA Systems
o Industrial Instrumentation and Process Control
ï· Experience handling electrical systems of 400 kV and above preferred.
ï· Strong understanding of industrial automation and digitalization initiatives.
International Exposure
ï· Experience in sourcing and procurement from China and international markets.
ï· Valid passport with willingness to travel internationally.
ï· Exposure to multinational project environments will be an advantage.

ï· Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills.
ï· Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
ï· Excellent problem -solving, planning, and decision -making capabilities.
ï· Strong communication and vendor negotiation skills.
Educational Qualification
ï· Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related
discipline.
ï· Masters Degree will be an added advantage.

45 – 50 Years
