Summary Section

As part of the electrical engineering team you will be involved in the design of electrical systems for the oil and gas and/or power including renewable energies industries. This may be a conceptual study or front-end engineering design (FEED) or a design execution involving, the procurement of all equipment and detailed drawings for the construction and commissioning of an entire facility.

Responsibilities:

• Shall have basic understanding of local /international codes and standards relevant to electrical design
• Shall be able to perform cable tray sizing calculations
• Shall be able to review vendor drawings and implement relevant inputs into design deliverables
• Shall be aware of and implement relevant HSE aspects while performing assigned tasks
• Understand and implement quality system requirements
• Shall be able to prepare material quantities for electrical bulks with minimum guidance
• Shall be able to understand and implement inter discipline interfaces
• Shall have good written and oral communication skills
• Shall be able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment

Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Shall have a Diploma (Full Time) /Degree (Part Time) in Electrical Engineering
• 8 - 12 years of experience in Oil & Gas / industrial projects
