Note: This is a senior engineering role requiring the ability to independently develop PCB architecture. The role includes end-to-end local project ownership, close coordination with global teams, and strong vendor management capabilities.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Electronics/Senior Electronics Engineer who can independently own end-to-end electrical and PCB design for globally compliant products. This role requires strong expertise in compliance-driven PCB design, power architecture, IP management, and vendor coordination, along with the ability to lead and mentor a growing electrical engineering team.

The ideal candidate can receive a high-level project brief, work independently with minimal technical guidance, leverage external partners when needed, and ensure successful in-house execution from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Ownership

• Own end-to-end electrical and PCB design for water dispensing and purification products, from concept to mass production.


• Lead compliance-driven PCB design (EMI/EMC, safety, regulatory requirements for global markets).


• Define and implement a global power strategy, including power supply selection, protection, grounding, and efficiency considerations.


• Manage design-for-manufacturing (DFM), design-for-test (DFT), and design-for-reliability requirements.


• Ensure proper IP protection, documentation, and design reuse strategies.

Execution & Independence

• Receive high-level project briefs and translate them into complete electrical system architectures.


• Work independently with minimal technical supervision.


• Leverage and manage external vendors, design houses, and component suppliers as required.


• Review, validate, and approve external designs before internal adoption.

Team & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and scale the in-house electrical/electronic engineering team.


• Review designs created by junior engineers and ensure technical quality and compliance.


• Establish best practices, design standards, and review processes for all electrical projects.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with mechanical, firmware, industrial design, quality, and manufacturing teams.


• Support production transfer, pilot builds, and manufacturing ramp-up.


• Communicate clearly with global stakeholders and leadership on technical risks, timelines, and decisions.

Documentation & Communication

• Own technical documentation including schematics, PCB files, test plans, compliance reports, and design reviews.


• Clearly communicate design decisions, trade-offs, and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.


• Experience: 5–10 years of experience in electrical and PCB design for commercial or industrial products.


• Strong experience with compliance and regulatory requirements (EMI/EMC, safety standards, global certifications).


• Proven expertise in PCB architecture, power design, and system-level electrical design.


• Experience transitioning electrical and PCB design fully in-house.


• Prior experience leading or mentoring engineers is strongly preferred.


• Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer (preferred).


• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently in a fast-growing, execution-focused environment.
