Senior Embedded QA - Automation

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution required. Overall experience should be 6 to 9 years. 6+ years of experience in Test or Test tool development with proven track record of validating high quality products in Embedded software/firmware quality assurance. 4+ years of experience with Python and other scripting languages such as Shell scripting; intermediate skillset in other common languages such as C++, Lua, Java, C#, etc. 2+ years of experience with Linux/RTOS and Microsoft Windows based software applications 3+ years of experience in automation framework development using Python and Pytest for Embedded domain. 2+ years of experience with network-enabled communications protocols, message queues, and databases. Experience working in an Agile SCRUM development lifecycle. Expert in PyTest framework and embedded testing using Python. Good knowledge and understanding of Linux and RTOS platform for embedded systems. Thorough understanding of PyTest automation frameworks and RESTful API testing. Proficient in Data Driven testing approaches. Good knowledge and understanding in performance testing for Embedded platforms. Expert in testing process and terminologies. Overall knowledge in CI/CD in GitHub and Azure DevOps or similar. Should be open to work on any tools, technology, projects as per business needs. Should be able to work individually or as a team player as per project needs. Must have proven track record of validating high quality products. Experience with protocol testing such as Serial/ TCP/UDP, Modbus/TCP, SNMP, BACnet/IP, WebSocket, etc. Understanding in backend physical resource testing, notably memory, CPU load, and disk IO. Experience writing functional and integration tests for Continuous Integration and Deployment frameworks. Experience developing or enhancing complex/large scale test frameworks and libraries. Experience developing performance test framework for Embedded platforms. Experience with Pytest, Robot Framework, TestNG, Junit or similar build and unit testing frameworks. Proficient understanding of Source Control software and Code Collaboration tools (Git, SVN, etc.); experience with Issue and Project Tracking software (JIRA, TFS, etc.). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Problem solving skills, Working in ambiguity, process management Able to communicate with diverse teams locally and internationally.
