Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.\n\n## This role in summary\n\nThe position is responsible for developing/reviewing CAD models/ Assemblies/ drawings for mechanical/ electrical components and subsystems of Laundry Products. Utilizes corporate CAD design system to produce relatively complex models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings. Manages assigned tasks within scheduled time constraints. Establishes component tolerances by manufacturing capabilities, also as a part of Virtual Product Development (VPD) effective utilization of various virtual tools/capabilities for early detection of failure mode in design.\n\n## Your responsibilities will include\n\n * * Effective use of plastic \u0026 sheet metal part design guide to Create/modify design concepts\n\n * Evaluate developed concepts using Design for Manufacturing \u0026 Assembly techniques (DFMA)\n\n * Determine the effect of change on other components/assemblies by geometric studies within the subsystem\n\n * Performed complex tolerance analysis and validation using CAD tools as required by project teams\n\n * Analysis design using DFM Pro \u0026 other Virtual tools to deliver manufacturable design. \n\n * Application of GD\u0026T as per required standard (ASME Y14.5 / ISO 1101)\n\n * Comply with ASME Y14.5 / ISO CAD drafting standards for engineering drawings\n\n * Comply with CAD data management policies and design change processes using Windchill\n\n * Understand \u0026 review requirements to produce complete CAD models of components/subsystems in the product\n\n * Identify and resolve potential problems in CAD design and coordinate changes with x-functionals\n\n * Plan and organize multiple tasks, normally within the context of a complex project, resulting in successful delivery on time and with Quality\n\n\n\n\n## Minimum requirements\n\nEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: B.Tech-Mech/ BE Mech\n\nEXPERIENCE: 3-6 Years \n\nTECHNICAL\n\n 1. Experience in plastics/sheet metal part design\n 2. Design for manufacturing/assembly (DFM/A)\n 3. Experience with Top Down Design methodology (Skeletons management)\n 4. Knowledge of GD\u0026T\n 5. Master in PTC Creo Parametric -(Part Modeling, Surfacing, Sheetmetal \u0026 Drafting)\n 6. Proficiency in ASME Y14.5M/ ISO standards\n 7. Knowledge of Windchill (Must)\n 8. VR/XR - ICI.DO, Unreal (Preferred)\n 9. Knowledge of DFMPro (Preferred)\n 10. Creo Simulate (Preferred)\n\n\n\n## Preferred skills and experiences\n\nKEY DELIVERABLES \n\n * Create/update complex CAD models, drawings, and assemblies using robust CAD modeling in Creo parametric\n\n * Comply with CAD standards, data management policies, and design change process\n\n * Quality Review of CAD drawings \u0026 Models\n\n * Ensure expected delivery on Time and at Quality\n\n * VR/XR application of immersive digital tools for early assessment of knowledge gaps and addressing design issues.\n\n\n\n\nMANAGERIAL\n\n 1.
