Senior Engineer / Assistant Area Manager

Required Urgently Senior Engineer / Assistant Area Manager  Concrete Line / Boom Pumps & Batching Plants  with  Diploma / Degree in Mechanical engineering and Minimum 8 years of experience in servicing concrete pumps, including line and boom pumps.

1. Job Purpose

• Overview:
  The Pump Service Senior Engineer will be responsible for providing expert-level service, maintenance, and troubleshooting for concrete pumps, including line pumps and boom pumps. The role includes on-site and remote customer support, ensuring high operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Service & Maintenance:
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for line pumps and boom pumps.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot technical issues related to mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Oversee major overhauls and repairs to ensure pumps are in optimal working condition.
• Customer Support:
• Provide technical assistance to customers on-site and remotely.
• Address customer complaints and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Train customers on equipment operation, basic maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Team Leadership & Coordination:
• Lead and guide junior service engineers and technicians.
• Coordinate with the Area / Regional Service Manager for resource allocation and scheduling.
• Monitor and report on team performance and service activities.
• Compliance & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures during service operations.
• Support the implementation of ISO and other quality standards in service operations.
• Spare Parts Management:
• Coordinate with the stores team to ensure the availability of spare parts.
• Monitor spare parts usage and recommend optimal stock levels.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to service procedures.
• Provide feedback to the design and manufacturing teams to enhance product reliability.

3. Required Certifications/Licenses:

Proficient in using Service CRM

Special Skills:

· Excellent problem-solving and customer-handling skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple service requests.

5. Working Conditions

• Work Environment: travel frequently within the assigned region for on-site service activities.
