Job Description - Senior Engineer /Assistant Manager - KOB3 PWS Sales

Job Summary:


Responsible for driving the PWS Life Cycle Sales Portfolio (KOB/ISB) across Mumbai +Central +Maharashtra regions. Works in close co-ordination with regional Teams & Leadership. Driving Installed base sales strategy for value add on/spares/upgrades/expansions/ competitive displacement opportunities and service support etc . Must have good experience to work with end users to create lead on various avenues and growth oriented strategies year on year. Work with other region RPHs, Support functions for Operational activities.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be::

We’ are looking for an experienced person within process industry and automation projects to cover the following categories: Life Cycle Sales Portfolio, Ovation Control System, and Industrial Software Solutions. Working with the KOB Sales Leader, you will look after all sales activities of designated install base customers across India, covering Mumbai, Central and Western region, to achieve the agreed sales, bookings, strategic targets for the designated product lines and solutions.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Hold detailed knowledge of DCS, PLC, Asset Management system, RTU, SCADA and having prior knowledge of Sales & Solution selling to Develop & implementing sales strategies for customers.
  • Earlier experience in dealing with power plant customers.
  • Power plant automation concepts and appropriate interpretation of requirements
  • Owning of Induvial booking /Regions POR/ Target.
  • Responsible for Installed Base Sales (KOB ) for West Region, Mumbai and Central Region. Achieve budgets for KOB incremental Business.
  • Target existing customers with various solution offerings like Evergreen Programs, Upgradation/Migration and Expansion leads/pursuits. Work closely with Region's Leadership.
  • Lead generation build funnel and convert into orders for Sophisticated Solutions like MHM, Cyber Security, Simulators, and Industrial Software solutions etc.
  • Preparing optimum techno commercial quote in consultation with proposals team within defined period.
  • Technical presentations and Demos at customer locations.
  • Driven displacement of Offsites and another Non-Ovation System in existing /Install base customer campus. 
  • Work ethically in compliance with Emerson standards.
  • Should be able to work independently.
  • Work as an individual contributor and as a team member and gel with the existing team
  • Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • A minimum - years of relevant work experience in technical sales and solution sales at install base customers, development & engagement with strong experience of working & customer engagements in the entire region.
  • Excellent knowledge of at least one Distributed Control System.
