Tunnels and underground stations for metro, light rail, heavy rail / Road tunnels / Underground car parks / public buildings.
Support the WSP teams (UK) in the design / sizing of TVS for Buildings.
- Prepare preliminary calculations (simplified approach, preliminary calculations of pressure losses, ...) for the TVS designs.
- Conduct 1D simulations of complex tunnel ventilation networks.
- Conduct 3D CFD simulations aiming at : conforting design calculations / design optimisations / proof of efficiency / risk analysis.
- Prepare simulation hypothesis notes and simulation reports.
- Prepare design documentation and technical specifications.
- Liaise on a daily basis with the WSP teams (UK).
Master degree in mechanical engineering. Min. 10 years of experience in the design of TVS and in CFD simulations.
'- Demonstrated experience in the design of TVS for road, rail and undergroud space projects.
- Demonstrated experience with FLUENT and FDS (3D CFD simulation tools).
- Demonstrated experience with 1D TVS simulation software (IDA Tunnel if possible).
- Good communication skills
- Experience in working with countries oustide India.
- Ability / willingness to learn country specific codes and standards.
