Senior Engineer - DAC

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Roles and Responsibilites:

1.    Project Risk monitoring and escalation to GPH’s/Delivery heads/Vertical Heads/President
2.    L1 to L4 Timeplan preparation and monitoring. Ensure control of timeline revisions are updated and communicated to respective COE’s
3.   Tracking of System wise Weight matrix & Benchmark details
4.    Gateway deliverables - Activities monitoring and closure, Critical path identification. Represent respective GPH’s in NPQ meetings
5.    CMTCP monitoring – Timeline and Performance
6.    Circulate Project Status report to leadership team
7.    Maintain and publish project specific - single issue list and follow-up for closure
8.    System wise Concern tracking of Manufacturing, Vehicle Build, GNOVA C & Validation Concerns. Support for resolution.
9.    Support for new Program scope finalization and Budget estimation
10.    Support for E-BOM release and build intent sign off for respective builds
11.    Support for Parts tracking for vehicle build requirement in co-ordination with CDMM
12.    Monitor supplier end development activities and escalate critical concerns
13.    Monitor and publish – Validation, RGA, Plant specific concerns reports to internal team
14.    Investment and Material Cost to be monitored and communicate to central budget management team and escalate for deviation
15.    IMCR, Field concerns - consolidation and monitoring for implementation
16.    Tracking of Standardization - within projects
17.    Knowledge Management & lessons learnt deployment
18.    Ensuring R&D budget allocation for the system developments and adherence to the target
19.    Monitoring of Decisions and Recoding MoM, Creating Conducive Environment between CoC & Platforms
20.    Overall tracking of BTP/SOR releases, TSO to TKO till T1 part availability

PEL Competencies    
DAC Systems -: Frame, suspension, steering, Brakes, Driveline, Bearings, Wheels & Tyre
Knowledge on system performance and engineering development of major DAC systems.
Knowledge on Engineering design concepts, integration and packaging of components for design and development purpose.
Profound idea on overall understanding of the computer aided engineering analysis and conclusions therefore. 
Performance prediction through virtual validation.
Knowledge in Catia V5, Teamcentre, 3DX environment is added advantage.
