1. Data Conversion & ETL Project Execution - 45%

· Lead end-to-end data conversion projects including AMS migrations (Applied Epic, AMS360, Vertafore) and ETL pipeline builds

· Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to extract, transform, validate, and load data across source and target environments

· Own data mapping specifications for full conversion projects, translating business requirements into detailed field-level mapping documents and transformation rules

· Conduct thorough data profiling and source analysis to identify data quality issues, gaps, and risks early in the conversion lifecycle

· Develop and maintain ETL workflows optimized for performance, reliability, and maintainability

· Utilize Python for data transformation scripting, automation of repetitive tasks, and enhancement of ETL workflows

2. Data Validation, QA & Reporting - 25%

· Design and execute multi-phase data validation frameworks ensuring data integrity, completeness, and accuracy at each migration stage

· Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI or Tableau to monitor data quality KPIs, conversion progress, and post-migration validation results

· Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to standardization efforts across the team

· Support ad-hoc data requests and escalations from project teams and client stakeholders

3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement - 20%

· Serve as a technical point of contact during client data discovery and requirements-gathering sessions

· Translate complex data structures and business rules into actionable conversion plans

· Coordinate with technology vendors and AMS platform teams to resolve data-related issues

· Collaborate with project managers to define conversion scope, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies

4. Teamwork & Collaboration (Standard) - 10%

· Mentor and provide technical guidance to Data Analysts, conducting code and query reviews

· Foster a respectful and collaborative environment by upholding professionalism and engaging in constructive and respectful conversations

· Support a positive workplace culture by promoting open, solution-oriented communication, encouraging teamwork, and maintaining a focus on shared goals and productivity
