Ensure robust design through the disciplined application of Six Sigma methodologies \n\u00b7 Writes and maintains product specifications and functional specifications of design solutions for product to meet performance, functional safety and reliability. \n\u00b7 Develop engineering tools and continuously improves operational efficiency. Mentor 2-3 people on simulations, designing and testing. \n\u00b7 Evaluates alternative design solutions to meet product development requirements factoring in performance, cost and schedule. Interface with products teams in EIIC and global locations; act as the liaison for program associated with associated simulation technologies. \nA successful candidate will need knowledge and have prior experience of commercial vehicle product development process at system and subsystem levels.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n:Education Bachelors / Master\u0027s degree in Electrical, Electronics with industry experience of B-Tech/BE with 7+ yrs./ M.Tech with 3+yrs and proven track record in engineering research / analysis / product design of low voltage power distribution unit, vehicle electric centers, solid state power distribution units, circuit breakers Products. \nRequirement: \n\u00b7 Required Experience in new product development projects and in the field of power electronics. \n\u00b7 Experience in hardware system design including end to end product development involving analog \u0026 digital circuit design with 16/32 /64 bit microcontroller based designs, development, verification \u0026 validation, qualification \u0026 certification testing, launch support. \n\u00b7 Exposure / Hands on experience on Digital Communication protocols like CAN, LIN, RS232, SPI, I2C etc. \n\u00b7 Experience in following tools - MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice/ LT Spice/ Simetrix, PSIM/SABER \n\u00b7 Rich experience in electromechanical domain specifically power distribution units, fuses, circuit breakers. \n\u00b7 Experience in Analyzing and simulating power electronics systems including, analog, logical, and digital electronics. \n\u00b7 Experience in Validation, Verification and Certification of Auto / Electrical domain. \n\u00b7 Knowledge of Reliability for conventional power distribution units containing circuit breakers, fuses etc. \n\u00b7 Understanding of DFSS tools like FMEA, FMECA, Monte Carlo Analysis etc. \n\u00b7 Excellent mastery of FMEA method for the design of new products \n\u00b7 Experience in hybrid / vehicle electrification \n\u00b7 Experience in ISO 26262 functional safety processes. \n\u00b7 Knowledge of quality standards and certifications (IATF 16949, ISO9001, ISO14001) \n. Should have proficiency in advanced problem-solving techniques.\n\n## Skills:\n\nSoft skills:\n\n. Sound knowledge of electrical \u0026 electronic design especially in Low power electronics \n\u00b7 Drive for Results, Communication skills, Analysis-First Mindset, Passionate \n\u00b7 Good communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written are necessary with an ability to make necessary status reports, technical presentations to Eaton management and global stakeholders. \n\u00b7 Build strong customer relationships and manage customer communication effectively by providing customer centric solutions. \n.
