Senior Engineer - Equipment Engineering (HTRI)

Wood is currently for a Senior Engineer – Equipment Engineering (HTRI) with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

• Must have handled the thermal rating of heat exchangers for refinery and petrochemical plants
• Must be expert in handling HTRI software
• Must have handled exchanger thermal design for most of the types used in the industry such as:
  • Liquid Liquid
  • Gas Liquid
  • Gas Gas
  • Reboilers
  • 2 Phase
  • Condensers
  • Double pipe
  • Air Cooled heat exchanger
• Must be conversant to mechanical design ( need not be expert) and conversant with ASME and TEMA codes
• Must be conversant with Aspen B-JAC / Compress / PV Elite software for mechanical design
• Should be capable of analysing the vibration issues related to heat exchangers and make corrections in design as and when required
• Should be capable of making setting plan and tube layout
• Should be conversant with material and its properties
• Must have handled thermal design of heat exchanger for high temperature liquid and gases
• Should have reasonable good knowledge of fabrication methods and design constraints

• B.E. / B.Tech (Chemical / Mechanical) from reputed institution. Post-graduation is preferred but not mandatory
• 8+years of experience in engineering organization with adequate experience in thermal design of heat exchangers in reputed EPC company
