Senior Engineer - Highways (FI)

Novapoint, Civil 3D, Highway Design, Junction Detailed Design

Production of detailed highway, drainage or development infrastructure designs and construction drawings for various Finland  projects including, transport, water, tram, rail, residential, industrial, commercial, health and education projects.

Key Competencies / Skills

• Excellent command of written and verbal English
• Finland  project experience and knowledge of Finland  design standards and detailed DMRB is advantageous.
• Problem solving and originality ability.
• Highways, Street detailed design software project exposure.
• The successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual who will take on a Leadership role in project work, focused on delivery to the client and technical excellence.  The role requires management of a number of projects and becoming involved in design at an early stage.  The ability to plan and design deliverables against Finland  Engineering standards for each stage of a project is a pre-requisite and training and guidance will be provided where necessary.
• Cultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind and excellent communication skills are essential requirements for the role. Could able to work seamless with offshore.
• High degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others.
• Ability to work under pressure and could supervise design and draughting team. 

• Master of Engineering/Technology in Civil / Transportation Engineering.
• Must have Novapoint and Civil3d project experiences. InfraBIM exposure will be added advantage.
• At least 8years’ experience of working with infrastructure projects and detail design of highways and drainage.
• Civil engineering Street, Road and Highways experience.
• Experience of 2D and 3D Detailed Design and of Junction and interchanges.
• Experience to work in/with other cultures.
