As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Proficient in programming in Python, C#, C++ etc. \n\n * MS (research) or Phd in electrical and/or computer science engineering with strong mathematical foundation in:\n\n\n\n\na.) conventional \u0026 statistical signal and image processing. \n\nb.) Optimization problems\n\n * Computer vision \u0026 machine learning\n\n * Prior experience in the image sensors, camera \u0026 imaging science, basic optical systems, ISP is an added advantage\n\n\n\n\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n * Designing computer vision /image processing for mobile devices\n\n * Designing and evaluating algorithms to be implemented in hardware on software prototypes\n\n * Developing or Optimizing image processing and computer vision algorithms\n\n\n\n\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
