Senior Engineer- Mechanical Design

What you’ll do:

"
'- Work on NPI and sustaining projects on DC Fast chargers
- Mechanical Design and Develop Enclosure & internal sub-systems for DC chargers and its accessories, meeting customer requirement, cost target and Market related technology
- Coordinate with Global stakeholders and Drive project execution through Design, testing and implementation phase
- Contribute to technical development of the product. Ensure product compliance to global design standards like IEC, NEMA ,UL or any other compliance standard
- Modify existing products to support customer, manufacturing, applicable regulatory and industry standard, and market requirement through Change Management process"  

"‘- Redesign existing parts or design new concepts on DC & AC low voltage distribution equipment; meeting customer requirement, cost target and Market related technology
-Experienced in Mechanical Design of converter/inverter housings, packaging and optimize design layout considering packaging , electrical wiring requirements 
-Proficient in CAD design 2D and 3D modelling. 
- Lead multiple projects/programs/teams through execution of these programs/projects in a timely manner, supporting the business goals and Profit Plan objectives
- Create Intellectual Property documents (IPs) around new product design concepts / ideas and drive innovation from ideation through to execution
- 3D modelling, detailing, and drafting experience on 3D CAD tool. (Preferred Solid works)
- Develops test plans for temperature rise, IP testing, Vibration tests in accordance with IEC/UL standards. Creates test object requirements, plan for assembly and finalize test parameters & instrumentation. Responsible for conducting tests by ensuring deployment of standard practices. Assesses test results, root cause analysis through test findings/failures and takes corrective/preventive actions
- Modify existing products to support customer, manufacturing, applicable regulatory and industry standard, and market requirement through Change Management process
- Performs project management role from design to implementation; communicates expectations, plans, and requirements and coordinates all work within the scope of assigned projects"
