Detailed Engineering of Hydraulic Power packs as per customer specification and technical support to Inside Sales â
new designs , design upgrades, and support to customer for trouble shooting. This role also envisages the review of
customer specification and technical risk review and give necessary inputs to Sales during the quote stage.

Key Responsibilities
ï· Sales and pre-engineering support for sales during RFQ stage
ï· Design and manufacturing review with sales and operations.
ï· Project Engineering â Datasheet review, customer spec review and other technical review.
ï· Preparation / review of TA drawings and manufacturing drawings.
ï· Preparation / review of Bill of materials â in ERP.
ï· Preparation / review of detailed manufacturing drawings.
ï· Prepare design (hand) calculations for the design development/ evaluation.
ï· Creation of Design Plan and review of design inputs and outputs.
ï· Manufacturing and field service support during assembly / commissioning.
ï· Make innovative changes in the existing product for improvements and easy manufacture.
ï· Responsible for on time delivery and quality outputs.
ï· Prepare the design documents and operation and maintenance manuals for the product.
ï· Attend meetings and conferences to develop knowledge and skills.
ï· Weekly reporting â project status and other Engineering and individual KPIs.
ï· Visit customer for resolving technical issues.
ï· Work with all IMI locations worldwide to understand the identified product, and its design and engineering
requirements.
Requirements
Critical Competencies for Success
ï· Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed colleges / universities.
ï· Conversant with hydraulic power packs, hydraulic actuators, hydraulic accessories and systems
ï· Preparation of specification of hydraulic power systems
ï· Preparation and review of P&ID (instrument and routing) diagrams for hydraulic systems
ï· Sizing, selection, and preparation of specification of hydraulic power unit instruments hydraulic power unit,
hydraulic actuators, and control elements.
ï· Basic flow and pressure drop calculations for hydraulic system
ï· Conversant with hazardous and non-hazardous area classification of instruments and its selection
ï· Preparation and review of general arrangement drawing of hydraulic power systems
ï· Experience in control valves, actuators, accessories, pneumatic circuits are added advantages.
ï· Must have working knowledge of Solid works & AutoCAD.
ï· Must have experience in bill of materials and part number creation in ERP.
ï· Working knowledge on MS Office.
ï· Must have good writing skills to prepare design documents and manuals.
ï· Must be willing to travel anywhere globally.
ï· Familiar with ISO 9001 requirements.
ï· Education qualification and Experience: Degree in Mechanical Engineering from good or reputed college only:
5-8 yearsâ experience.
ï· Must possess good writing and communication skills.
