Key Responsibilities
Manage the contract to control project costs and meet or exceed gross margin requirements.
Manage the contract to increase order value at an increased profit.
Project Planning & Scheduling, Cost Control, Revenue Planning
Project Progress Review Meetings with Team, Customer & Consultant
Negotiates contract extras with customer based on contractual scope changes.
Coordinate and respond to all customer inquiries on technical/commercial issues.
Coordinates work of engineering, quality assurance, purchasing production, shipping, and finance to implement fulfilment of contracts.
Transmits drawings, data sheets, calculations, process procedures, test and progress reports and other exhibits as required by contract and follows up with customer for appropriate action revising and resubmitting documents as required.
Project Reviews / Approvals Monitoring.
Risk Analysis & Mitigation, Contractual Claims Management. Time Extensions.
Responsible for negotiating CCI out of penalties when imposed by customer.
Billing Plan Preparation & Approval with Customer.
Contractual Communications with Customer & Progress Reporting
Project document deliverable monitoring.
Commercial Aspects like Duties & taxes, PAC, Import Licence etc.
Billing Submission, Payment Receivables Management
Logistics Monitoring & Site Progress Review
Post Commissioning Support to Customer
Manage projects from receipt of order through expiration of warranty.
Project Closure
Assist in the training of new Project Management personnel in all aspects of Project

BE (Mechanical Engineering) with 5-8 years post qualification experience with valve industry
PMP Certification
Knowledge of concepts, practices, and products in the valve industry.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques.
ERP-SAP or equivalent system knowledge desired
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10% of time
Exposure to international customers
Ability to adhere to international business protocol / etiquette and to work in different time zones (eg)
Americas / Asia pacific / Europe/ Middle East etc.
Good academic track record
Must possess good writing and communication skills.
