The incumbent will have primarily responsibility of leading systems engineering, architecting and systems design of Power Distribution products within Low Voltage Power conversion engg organization in eMobility business. The individual will be responsible for systems engineering, modelling and validation activities for new product development including, analyzing requirements and assessing compliance, defining interfaces, understanding complex system development methods and reviewing component spec. This will include requirements elicitation and management, and the development to a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) centric process. The incumbent will be functional lead for systems engineering in NPI programs and collaborate with other functional leads and Technical Project Lead to execute PROLaunch deliverables.. In this role, the senior engineer will collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager and cross‑functional teams—including manufacturing, quality, and program management—to deliver project milestones and customer requirements. Additionally, it is expected the incumbent will mentor other engineers in the team to achieve the goals of the assigned program. A. Responsible for developing Requirements, Architecture, Integration, Verification and validation plans for eMobility Low Voltage and Power Conversion Products at system level B. Responsible for developing sub-system level requirements, PDSC, DFMEA, DAP, RMSC, DVPs and plan interface requirements between hardware and software C. Responsible for Requirement verification, design reviews to meet requirements factoring in performance, size, cost, manufacturability, and reliability for hybrid and electric vehicles. D. Responsible for the development of Model based systems engineering functional excellence E. Accountable to drive predictive approach and analytical problem solving methodologies to improve the NPI/NTI and Current Product Engineering effectiveness as measured by the Business KPI's F. Efficenty apply technical process to ensure Reliability growth plan, Root cause analysis, Design Robustness through application of DFSS Methodology identifying and meeting CTQ's, Requirement Scorecards, FMEA. Champion Continous improvement initatitves. 1. Ability to decompose Requirements and identify verification methods for Electro-Mechnical product likes Low voltage PDUs, Vehicle Electric Center, Solid stae PDUs. 2. Ability to define system architecture for Automotive products based on customer requirement 2. 3. Able to plan and conduct performance, reliability/durability, Engineering verificaiton testing " Graduate in Electrical/Electronis Engineering 6+ years with BE or 4+ years experience with ME / MTech Vehicle industry exposure, electric vehicle application knowledge and experience Responsible to execute full Systems Engineering development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification testing in eMobility Low Voltage and Power Conversion Product line. Execute system engineering work while driving continuous improvement to fulfil project, system KPIs and meet customer satisfaction. Should have experience working with customer requirements management (JAZZ experience preferred). Experience in system modeling and validation while dealing with Multiphysics in Electromechanical & Electric / Electronics Like LV PDUs, VECs risk management to enable decision making by using robust design methodologies. Execute System Architecture ideas and demonstrate feasibility through relevant engineering calculations / predictions. Model Based System Engineering (CAMEO tool) experience preferred. Execute Multiphysics system simulations through MATLAB Simulink software complying with the specifications. Drive digital transformation by leveraging data, insights and digital tools. Should have proficiency in advanced problem-solving techniques. System Engineering, MBSE, Requirements management, System Architecture, MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, Mathcad, Verification & validation Drive for Results, Communication skills, Analysis-First Mindset, Passionate Build strong customer relationships and manage customer communication effectively by providing customer centric solutions.
