Senior Engineer - Transmission

Job Summary

We are hiring a Substation Design Engineer - Secondary with experience in AIS/GIS substations up to 400kV, and strong expertise in protection & control and SAS/SCADA systems. Gulf project experience will be an added advantage.  

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
  Bachelors Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
  
  


• 
  
  Minimum 8 - 12 years of experience in substation secondary design (AIS/GIS up to 400kV).
  
  


• 
  
  Proven experience working with Utilities, EPC Contractors, or Design Consultancies.
  
  


• 
  
  Strong knowledge of Substation Automation Systems (SAS), Control & Protection systems.
  
  

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required to Execute this Role

• 
  
  Prepare SLDs, protection & metering diagrams, and interlock logic.
  
  


• 
  
  Design SCADA/SAS architecture and manage system integration.
  
  


• 
  
  Develop LV AC/DC SLDs, cable/interconnection schedules, and point lists.
  
  


• 
  
  Perform CT/VT sizing, relay settings, and protection coordination.
  
  


• 
  
  Review technical specifications and vendor drawings.
  
  


• 
  
  Implement communication protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, etc.) and busbar schemes.
