Senior Engineer Validation and Verification

## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nA Senior QA Automation Engineer develops test strategies and plans to validate Embedded and Application Software for life safety and power conversion products. The role requires strong software testing skills and effective communication, working with cross-functional teams to verify new technologies, create test schedules, oversee projects, and help global teams resolve issues. \n\u2022 Define end-to-end test strategies for the LSS platform, including system, firmware, and integration testing. \n\u2022 Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and data sets for functionality, performance, reliability, and safety requirements. \n\u2022 Create, run, and maintain automated tests using Python frameworks like Robot Framework or PyTest. \n\u2022 Set up and enhance test infrastructure, including simulators, interfaces, and hardware rigs. \n\u2022 Validate firmware communication, system states, and control algorithms at the feature level. \n\u2022 Analyze system logs and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues. \n\u2022 Improve test tools, automation scripts, and validation methods. \n\u2022 Ensure traceability between requirements, tests, results, and defects. \n\u2022 Validate customer releases and manage assigned deliverables. \n\u2022 Recommend enhancements for test methods and workflows. \n\u2022 Maintain documentation such as verification plans, test designs, guidelines, and reports. \n\u2022 Participate in technical discussions and share knowledge with cross-functional teams. \n--- \n \n## Qualifications:\n\nB.E. (5-7 Years) \n--- \n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics \u0026 Communication. \n\u2022 5\u20137 years of experience in software or firmware testing, or system test development for embedded systems products. \n\u2022 Minimum of 2 years validating high-quality embedded products, preferably in power electronics or critical power solutions. \n\u2022 At least 3 years developing automation with Python. \n \n## Skills:\n\n\u2022 Proven experience in implementing System Automation Test Frameworks for complex embedded, on-premises, cloud, and mobile application systems. \n\u2022 Strong understanding of embedded system architecture, control loops, and principal system operating modes. \n\u2022 Extensive hands-on experience testing power electronics or LSS-related systems, with exposure to three-phase systems, battery-tie converters, or power distribution equipment considered an asset. \n\u2022 Proficient in using Python-based automation frameworks such as Robot Framework or Pytest. \n\u2022 Experienced in cloud-based testing and automation, including emulation of big data and automated data handling. \n\u2022 Skilled in creating system-level test cases and contributing to test plans for embedded firmware and application software. \n\u2022 Working knowledge of data-driven testing, CI/CD-based automation, and developing test scripts or harnesses for Linux and Windows environments. \n\u2022 Familiarity with version control and project-tracking tools such as Git, SVN, Jira, or TFS. \n\u2022 Basic understanding of network-enabled communication protocols, message handling, and data storage systems. \n\u2022 Exposure to communication protocols such as MQTT, MODBUS, or RS232/485 is preferred but not mandatory. \n\u2022 Knowledge of HIL simulation concepts or experience working with real-time embedded HIL setups. \n\u2022 Demonstrated ability to analyze logs, waveforms, and measurements using oscilloscopes, analyzers, and related diagnostic tools. \n--- \nCommunicates technical concepts and information to internal staff/peers and stakeholders; strong verbal, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills required. \nProblem solving skills, Working in ambiguity, process improvement \n---\n
