Senior Engineering Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead the end -to -end delivery of enterprise -scale products and digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Agile delivery, engineering leadership, stakeholder management, and modern Java -based technologies. This role involves managing multiple Agile squads, driving delivery excellence, ensuring engineering quality, and fostering AI -enabled development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Program Management

• Own end -to -end delivery of assigned product modules and business -critical features.
  
• Lead and manage multiple cross -functional Agile squads to ensure successful project execution.
  
• Ensure delivery commitments are met within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.
  
• Drive sprint planning, execution, release management, and production readiness activities.
  
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, schedules, and resource allocation.
  
• Coordinate release planning, cutover activities, and go -live support.
  
• Utilize AI -enabled insights to improve estimation accuracy, delivery predictability, and risk management.
  

Team Leadership

• Manage Engineering Managers, Squad Leads, and large engineering teams.
  
• Foster a high -performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  
• Mentor and support engineering leaders in achieving delivery and quality objectives.
  
• Drive Agile best practices and continuous delivery methodologies.
  

Technical & Quality Oversight

• Provide technical leadership while empowering teams to deliver independently.
  
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, coding practices, and architectural guidelines.
  
• Collaborate closely with Architects and technical stakeholders on solution design and implementation.
  
• Drive quality initiatives, automation strategies, and engineering excellence.
  

AI -Driven Engineering Practices

• Promote AI -assisted software development, including code generation, code reviews, and test automation.
  
• Leverage AI -powered tools to improve developer productivity and software quality.
  
• Encourage innovation and adoption of emerging technologies across engineering teams.
  

Requirements

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
  
• Hands -on understanding of REST APIs, system integrations, and distributed systems.
  
• Experience with enterprise application development and scalable architectures.
  
• Knowledge of cloud -native and modern software engineering practices is preferred.
  

Leadership & Delivery

• 15–18 years of overall IT experience with significant experience in delivery leadership roles.
  
• Proven track record of managing large engineering teams and Agile delivery programs.
  
• Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and release management.
  
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem -solving skills.
  
• Experience managing project budgets, risks, dependencies, and delivery governance.
