Senior Engineer-Procurement

## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThis position is within the Supply Chain department in Coimbatore, India. Candidate will be key player to plan and deliver the materials required from import and local suppliers. This will include raw materials, Boughtout parts , traded and subcontracted parts. \n\n\u2022 Plan the materials required for Sales , Production, and consumables. \n\u2022 Preparation and review the PO required as per MRP , trading items and Twobins. \n\u2022 Managing supplier fulfillment from purchase order issuance to part receipt into stock. \n\u2022 Closely interact with intercompany for Price request , Lead time , Expedite / Deexpedite msg and updation in EDI Portal. \n\u2022 Update and maintain purchase orders in MRP system for changes in design and delivery requirements. \n\u2022 Develop and execute plans to exceed key supplier goals (Inventory DOH , OTD, Cost out). \n\u2022 Plan For Every Part (PFEP) to optimise the inventory and improve OTD. \n\u2022 Monitor the ERP Health check and initiate the action against the error messages. \n\u2022 Monitor the supplier performance and initiate the focus program as and when required. \n\u2022 Monitor the supplier capacity for the subcontracted items. \n\u2022 Coordinate and co-lead supplier performance meetings - Analyzes data to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supplier delivery. \n\u2022 Drive to implement the best-practices and continual improvements in procurement process and with suppliers. \n\u2022 Comply with Supply Chain and Purchasing procedures and compliance requirements. \n\n## Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Diploma / Bachelors full time degree \n\u2022 Experience of min 12 yrs (Diploma)/ min 6-8 years (Bachelors)\n\n## Skills:\n\n\u2022 Experience in handling imports and local suppliers \n\u2022 Additional qualifications in material management will be preferred \n\u2022 Proficient with ERP systems \u0026 preferably MFG Pro. \n\u2022 Proficient with all MS office products. \n\u2022 Strong analytical and structured thinking skills \n\u2022 A good team player. \n\u2022 Language: Fluency in English \u0026 Tamil is required. \n\u2022 Capable of interfacing with all levels of management.\n
