Salary range: Rs 600000 - Rs 800000 (ie INR 6-8 LPA)

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Printing Operations with a strong background in color management and fabric printing, particularly across Pigment, Reactive, Nylon, and Polyester substrates. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth technical knowledge, hands-on experience in color matching and formulation, and a sound understanding of fabric behavior during various print processes. The role is crucial to ensuring high-quality color output, process consistency, and product excellence across all printing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end operations of fabric printing with a specific focus on Pigment, Reactive, Nylon, and Polyester materials.
  • Act as a lead colorist, responsible for color matching, shade development, and accurate reproduction of colors as per design requirements and client expectations.
  • Calibrate and maintain color consistency across different fabric types and printing techniques, ensuring precision in tone, brightness, and fastness.
  • Collaborate with design, sampling, and production teams to deliver timely and cost-effective color solutions.
  • Perform lab dips, strike-offs, and bulk matching using manual and digital color formulation tools.
  • Implement and monitor printing recipes and parameters to ensure accurate and consistent print output.
  • Monitor and control printing processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with quality standards and SOPs.
  • Supervise production trials and resolve any printing-related challenges related to ink penetration, color bleed, or misregistration.
  • Coordinate with chemical suppliers and ink manufacturers for optimal product usage and innovations in pigment/reactive formulations.
  • Train and guide junior staff in print procedures, color theory, fabric behavior, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of color matching approvals, ink formulations, and machine settings for future reference and reproducibility.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Pigment and Reactive printing across both Nylon and Polyester fabrics.
  • Proficiency in color matching, mixing, and formulation as a Colorist in a fast-paced textile or printing environment.
  • Deep understanding of dye chemistry, fabric compatibility, and finishing processes.
  • Familiarity with screen, rotary, and digital printing operations.
  • Eye for detail with strong visual color judgment and accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of spectrophotometers, color management systems, and fabric testing protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Printing Technology, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in textile printing operations with a specialization in color matching for various fabric types.
  • Certification or training in color science or textile chemistry will be an added advantage.
