Senior Executive _ R2R

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in R2R/General Ledger accounting processes


• Knowledge of month-end and year-end close activities


• Exposure to reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting


• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems


• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

• Execute and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in accordance with established timelines.


• Prepare, review, and post journal entries, including accruals, reclassifications, and adjustments.


• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate/resolve outstanding items.


• Analyze financial results and provide explanations for significant P&L and Balance Sheet variances.


• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, and internal procedures.


• Support internal and external audit requirements by providing accurate and timely documentation.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve reporting accuracy.


• Prepare and review management reports and financial schedules as required.


• Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.


• Identify risks, escalate issues proactively, and ensure timely resolution.


• Assist in knowledge sharing, cross-training, and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).


• Support special projects and business initiatives related to accounting, reporting, and system enhancements.

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Professional certifications such as CA Inter, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage. 

• Experience in Record-to-Report (R2R), General Ledger, Financial Reporting, or Accounting Operations.


• Sound understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.


• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar financial applications.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
