Job Title

Job Description

* Lead and supervise a team of production operators and technicians in API manufacturing processes.
* Ensure timely and efficient production of APIs according to production plans and schedules.
* Monitor and control production parameters to maintain product quality and process efficiency.
* Implement and enforce cGMP guidelines, safety regulations, and environmental standards within the production facility.
* Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues, deviations, and non-conformances.
* Prepare and review batch production records, logbooks, and other relevant documentation.
* Participate in process improvement initiatives, including identifying areas for optimization, reducing waste, and improving yields.
* Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and R&D teams to ensure seamless production operations and new product introductions.
* Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
* Conduct equipment calibration checks and ensure proper maintenance of production machinery.

Job Qualifications**

* Btech in Chemical Engineering, .
* 5-8 years of progressive experience in API manufacturing within a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical company.
* In-depth knowledge of cGMP, ICH guidelines, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
* Proven experience in managing production teams and supervising manufacturing operations.
* Strong understanding of various API synthesis processes, reaction mechanisms, and purification techniques.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication and documentation.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Experience with process automation systems and relevant production software is a plus.
