Senior Executive_Technical Release Manager _Pune

Role Purpose

The Technical Release Manager leads the end-to-end delivery of connectivity projects from G0 to G5/6, ensuring all project milestones, deliverables, and gating requirements are met. This role is responsible for managing customer-driven connectivity demands for Vodafone Group Data Centers and OPCOs within the NSU scope. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, cross-functional coordination, and technical understanding to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Key Objectives

• Act as the primary interface for project-level engagement with customers and stakeholders across the GO organization.


• Drive requirement capture, dependency identification, and issue resolution across internal teams.


• Collaborate with cross-functional service connectivity teams including VCI, DC Service Design, Office Networks, and Global Network Engineering.


• Ensure project delivery aligns with agreed timelines, budgets, and customer expectations.


• Support escalations along with the Principal Service Delivery Manager.


• Lead delivery process improvements focusing on automation, KPIs, and continual service enhancement.


• Support agile transformation and transition of relevant projects to offshore teams.


• Develop project structures (WBS/Sprints), manage estimations, and create schedule plans.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage all customer-driven connectivity projects across VF-Group and OPCOs.


• Lead multi-project and program delivery involving design, build, test, implementation, and project management of connectivity services.


• Own the delivery for all VCI-related connectivity demands requiring OPCO/VCI alignment.


• Manage project budgets, ensuring financial governance and adherence.


• Prioritize tasks across NSU departments supporting customer-driven initiatives.

Core Competencies, Knowledge & Experience

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of SDN & Network Orchestration.


• Knowledge of Public Cloud Connectivity.


• Familiarity with Edge Cloud Architecture.


• Fundamentals of AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP environments.

Methodologies:

• Agile (Scrum/Kanban) project delivery.


• Experience participating in sprints, planning sessions, and stand-ups.
