The role is responsible for the performance of the Accounts, Audit, Taxation, Internal Control & Compliances and costing function. This role is responsible for managing health of Company’s balance sheet and establishing accounting guidelines and processes.
Responsibilities
- Establish accounting principles and provide oversight to all accounting activities of the company at global level
- Drive development and implementation of all accounting policies & procedures in compliance with Indian accounting standards
- Maintain efficient financial information systems in the organization to enable senior management to take appropriate and timely actions
- Ensure timely and accurate financial disclosures to be made by the Company
- Manage statutory, tax and internal audit interface effectively
- Establish robust internal controls and compliances leading to accurate financial reporting
- Play the controllership role and monitor and maintain the balance sheet’s health of the company
- Manage corporate taxation and ensure compliance with allied laws so that organization’s tax obligations are accurately reported and complied with
- Analyse and interpret domestic and international tax guidelines and their business implications and suggest steps to minimize organization’s tax liability
- Ensure robust costing systems are implemented and refined periodically
Must Have's
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
- 2-5 years of work experience in financial reporting, compliance, and audit support, with experience in Big4 firms and B2B start-ups.
