Senior Firmware Engineer - Embedded System

Job Description :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead/Senior Firmware Engineer to join our esteemed client in Bangalore. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining firmware for electronic control systems within the Power and Energy industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems and a passion for developing high-quality firmware solutions.Key Responsibilities :- Design and Development : Develop firmware for embedded systems using ARM controllers and embedded C++.- Algorithm Implementation : Implement complex algorithms and software architectures to meet system requirements.- Code Optimization : Debug and optimize code to enhance performance and reliability.- Problem-Solving : Identify, analyze, and solve technical problems efficiently.- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and other software developers, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.Key Skills :- ARM Controller Experience : Hands-on experience in developing firmware for ARM controller-based systems. mbedded C++: Proficiency in Embedded C++ programming.- RTOS/vxWorks : Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as vxWorks.- Communication Protocols : In-depth knowledge of basic embedded communication protocols like UART, SPI, and I2C.- Linux : Familiarity with the Linux operating system, especially for embedded systems.- Debugging Skills : Strong debugging and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.- Domain Knowledge : Experience in developing controllers for the energy/power industry is highly desirable.Qualifications :- Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.- Professional Experience : 3 to 9 years of relevant experience in firmware development for embedded systems.- Immediate Availability : Ability to join within 20 days or close to 20 days.Additional Requirements :- Collaborative Skills : Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with other developers and stakeholders.- Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality firmware solutions.- Problem-Solving Attitude : Proactive approach to identifying and solving technical challenges.Location : Bangalore (ref:hirist.tech)
