Job Description - Senior Fixed Deposit Sales Executive

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 700000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 7-12 LPA)

Min Experience: 5 years

Location: Mumbai

JobType: full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new clients and manage existing relationships to drive fixed deposit sales.
  • Effectively communicate the features, returns, and benefits of fixed deposit products to clients.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly fixed deposit sales targets and support broader revenue goals.
  • Execute lead generation strategies including client referrals, networking, and in-person meetings.
  • Guide clients on market conditions, interest rate trends, and fixed deposit strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant documentation as per regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with internal operations and compliance teams for seamless transaction execution.
  • Identify and promote cross-selling opportunities for products like mutual funds, PMS, loans, and insurance.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial product sales, preferably in fixed deposits or fixed income instruments.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage client portfolios effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income markets, investor behavior, and interest rate dynamics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and persuasive selling skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • NISM or AMFI certification is a plus.
