This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer based in India.

You will work in cross-functional agile teams alongside product managers, backend engineers, and fellow frontend specialists, with strong autonomy and ownership over your work. The role focuses on building performant, maintainable, and scalable desktop web experiences using modern frontend technologies. You will contribute directly to the evolution of core UI platforms and shared libraries that power critical user workflows. Beyond feature development, you will help define engineering standards, improve system quality, and influence technical direction. Accountabilities:
- Design and build high-quality frontend features for desktop-oriented web applications using TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS, while contributing to shared UI components and platform libraries
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, backend engineers, and designers to deliver cohesive product experiences
- Ensure long-term maintainability of code by writing clean, reusable, and well-structured frontend solutions
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of frontend systems and engineering standards
- Communicate effectively across teams to align on requirements, timelines, and technical dependencies
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend issues while maintaining a strong focus on performance and user experience
- Actively contribute within an autonomous agile team, supporting broader engineering initiatives when needed
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience building rich web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend technologies
- 3+ years of experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Ember
- Strong experience building reusable UI components and performance-optimized frontend code
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling in web applications
- Proven ability to debug complex frontend issues and optimize application performance
- Experience with modern frontend engineering practices such as testing, version control, and CI/CD workflows
- Strong knowledge of React ecosystem practices (e.g., Redux) is a plus
- Familiarity with tools such as Jest, Cypress, Storybook, Sentry, or Electron/NW.js is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to thrive in a distributed, autonomous team environment
